How to connect in the dashboard
All connection forms, OAuth buttons, target pickers, publish-mode settings, and test actions are inside the AymarTech dashboard. Choose automatic publishing or require confirmation before go-live.
Open dashboard integrations →- Open your project in the AymarTech dashboard, go to Integrations, and choose Shopify.
- Connect or confirm the Shopify store domain that belongs to this project.
- Let AymarTech load your Shopify blogs, then pick the blog where articles should be published.
- If the store has no blog yet, let AymarTech create the default News blog and save it as the target.
- Run the Shopify test connection from the dashboard.
- Publish or approve an article from AymarTech; depending on your mode, it is sent to Shopify immediately or after confirmation.
How article publishing or delivery works
- AymarTech stores the Shopify access token securely and uses it only for Admin API publishing calls.
- The selected Shopify blog ID is saved as the publishing target for the project.
- When auto-publish is enabled or you approve an article, AymarTech sends it with isPublished: true so Shopify makes the post visible.
- AymarTech records the Shopify article ID after the first publish and updates the same article on later republishes.
- If Shopify returns an authorization problem, the dashboard marks the connection as needing reconnect.
Troubleshooting
- No blogs listed: confirm the store has the Blog channel enabled or use the create News blog option.
- Wrong store connected: reconnect Shopify from the dashboard using the intended myshopify.com domain.
- Publish fails with authorization: the Shopify app was removed or token access changed; reconnect Shopify.
- Article URL looks wrong: verify the selected target blog and article handle in Shopify.
