How to connect in the dashboard
All connection forms, OAuth buttons, target pickers, publish-mode settings, and test actions are inside the AymarTech dashboard. Choose automatic publishing or require confirmation before go-live.
Open dashboard integrations →- Open Integrations in the AymarTech dashboard and choose Wix.
- Click Connect Wix and approve the AymarTech app for the correct Wix site.
- Confirm Wix Blog is installed on that site and that your Wix account has admin permission.
- Return to AymarTech and wait for the connection status to show connected.
- Load Wix categories and tags if you want taxonomy defaults.
- Run the Wix test connection, then publish automatically or approve an article from AymarTech.
How article publishing or delivery works
- AymarTech stores the Wix instance connection securely after the app install/callback flow.
- Before publishing, AymarTech uploads the hero image to Wix media and converts HTML into Wix rich content.
- Wix's API requires an intermediate post object internally; when auto-publish is enabled or you approve the article, AymarTech calls Wix publish so the result is a published Wix Blog post.
- The Wix post ID is stored so later publishes can update the same post when possible.
- If Wix reports the app was removed or the token is invalid, the dashboard asks you to reconnect.
Troubleshooting
- No connection after approval: make sure the popup/cookie blocker did not interrupt Wix install.
- Wrong Wix site: reconnect and choose the intended site during Wix approval.
- Publish fails because blog is missing: install Wix Blog on the selected site and retry.
- Image upload fails: confirm the image URL is reachable and the Wix app still has media permissions.
